Ultrapop invasion! The MTV Music Week is a week of musical events that anticipates the big show of the MTV EMA. During this week, the city hosting the EMA of that year is invaded by music, bars, clubs, the main streets and squares are home to concerts of the leading artists in the world. This year EMA the venue was Bilbao and the Music Week one the region of Bilbao itself, called Bizkaia. Together with the design agency Nerdo, we have developed an ultra-pop iconography to represent the core-values of this event. The bright colours, the irregular shapes, the rough illustrations and the optical patterns are the perfect style for any event that will call to Bizkaia the joyful, colourful, cheering MTV’s people.
